JOB DETAILS:
JOB INTRODUCTION:
Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability and integrity. .

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
• Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting requirements to Group.
• Meet all statutory and legal requirements for the company’s statutory entities.
• To prepare accurate management reports for Senior Management and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Lead the department in half year and year-end audit, and in the preparation of the statutory accounts for the company’s statutory entities.
• To maintain the integrity of the Company’s financial ledgers.
• Financial Analysis – Business/product performance review & analysis for strategic decision making.
• Ensure all accounting procedures in the business are performed in line with Group Accounting policies.
• To play a key role in projects affecting the Management Accounts department and the wider finance community.
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs for all service lines and branches. Review all P&L with the budget holders to explain all variances against budget.
• Business Modelling – Capital planning and investment analysis for new ventures, initiatives & projects.
• Ensure all statutory obligations are met and manage all relevant stakeholders including audit and Tax authorities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must:
• Have Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Full ACCA/CIMA/CA (professional level)
• Have Excellent skills in excel and SAP One accounting system
• Have Supervisory skills and the ability to motivate, support and inspire colleagues
• Think ahead, to prevent problems and difficulties from arising
• Demonstrate an understanding of the vision, values, goals and key objectives of the organisation
• Have Preferably 4/5 years PQE
• Be a good team player and willing to teach others
• Not have less than 5 years working experience
• Be Conversant with VIP payroll system
• Be a paid up Member of ZICA
• Be Zambian
