Responsibilities or duties
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reviews to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, cost analysis, and internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations, including VAT, PAYE, income tax, and corporate tax filings.
- Advise management on tax planning strategies and opportunities for optimization.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and other regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical guidance on financial reporting standards, taxation laws, and compliance frameworks.
- Support risk management, internal controls, and financial policy development.
