Fleet Tracking Officer
Core Skills Required
GPS/fleet tracking platform proficiency
Data entry accuracy — fuel probe readings, KMs, trip logs
Strong communication skills — drivers, workshop, logistics team
Attention to detail — spotting unusual stoppages, route deviations
Basic report writing and record keeping
Soft Skills
Ability to multitask and monitor multiple trucks simultaneously
Calm under pressure — handling breakdowns, delays, incidents
Proactive — not waiting for problems to escalate
Accountability and follow-through
Systems he'd typically work with
Fleet tracking platform (GPS)
Fuel management system
Transport Management System (TMS) or internal logistics software
WhatsApp/radio for driver communication
