Background:

Yalelo Zambia Ltd. is seeking experienced, proactive, and results-driven Fish Processors to join Zambia’s No. 1 aquaculture team at our Siavonga production site.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all freezing operations to ensure products are frozen efficiently, safely, and in line with quality and food safety standards.
• Maximizing blast freezer uptime, maintaining temperature and product integrity.
• Coordinating with Quality and Cold Chain Maintenance teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Production Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in production, processing, or cold chain operations within the food or FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of managing blast freezing operations or large-scale cold storage facilities.
• Experience in managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Additional training or certification in cold chain management, HACCP, or ISO standards is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of productivity, efficiency, and hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of freezing and cold chain processes.
• Knowledge of enforcement of HSE regulations and promoting safe work practices.
