JOB DETAILS:
Location: Mansa, Zambia
Reports to: Senior Geologist/Exploration Manager

Job Summary:
The Geologist will conduct geological assessments, mineral exploration, and resource evaluations. The role requires strong fieldwork experience, data analysis skills, and knowledge of mining regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and mineral exploration activities.
-Analyze geological data using GIS and modeling software.
– Prepare technical reports on mineral deposits and exploration findings.
Ensure compliance with environmental and mining regulations.
-Collaborate with engineers and environmental teams to optimize mining operations.
-Advise management on resource estimates and geological risks.

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
-At least 5 years of experience in geological exploration or mining operations.
-Registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or any relevant professional body.
-Proficiency in geological software (e.g., GIS, Leapfrog, Surpac).
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
