Job Summary:
The HR & Admin Manager will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administrative functions. This role is responsible for developing HR strategies, managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office and site administration. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Zambian Labour Laws and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all staff, from job posting to onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal system, ensuring timely reviews and feedback.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll processing in coordination with finance, ensuring accuracy in leave and overtime calculations.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs.
- General Administration: Supervise the admin team to manage office supplies, facility maintenance, travel arrangements, and accommodation for site staff.
- Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance (NAPSA, NHIMA, Workers' Compensation) and maintain accurate personnel records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an HR/Admin role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity (Mining/Heavy Industry preferred).
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Zambian Labour Laws and Industrial Relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
