Head of Sales and Marketing

LPG Energy Distribution | Lusaka, Zambia | Consulting Engagement | Immediate

265 Energy Zambia Limited is a licensed LPG distribution company in Lusaka. We are growing our commercial footprint and are looking for a commercially proven Head of Sales and Marketing on an initial consulting basis.

The Engagement

This is a 3-month consulting engagement with a monthly retainer and performance commission. At the end of the 3-month period, the Company will conduct a formal KPI review and may offer conversion to permanent employment based on performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead all B2B commercial account development — signing and managing gas supply accounts with businesses across Lusaka.
  • Recruit and onboard new resellers into the 265 Energy distribution network.
  • Develop and manage distribution partnerships with commercial and institutional organisations.
  • Plan and execute all brand marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct weekly outlet visits — branding compliance, and customer registration.
  • Report weekly to the CEO on commercial pipeline, revenue, and marketing performance.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or commercial development experience in Zambia.
  • A personal track record of independently closing commercial agreements — not just supporting them.
  • Existing commercial relationships with businesses and institutions in Lusaka.
  • Experience in FMCG, energy, petroleum, or consumer goods preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Nyanja. Bemba a strong advantage.
  • Ability to manage a full commercial function without daily instruction.
  • Valid Zambian driving licence.

Compensation

Performance Commission Performance-based. Details provided at interview stage.

Engagement Type 3-month consulting contract with KPI review and option to convert to permanent employment
