About the Role

Sanctuary Gardens is seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Head of Security to oversee all security operations. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for clients, staff, and visitors while leading the security team with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol
• Formal security training
• Proven security experience with a strong track record
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Alert, dependable, and decisive
• Military, Police, or Security Services background is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the security team on a 24/7 basis
• Maintain a secure, escape-proof, and contraband-free environment
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures
• Prevent, respond to, and investigate security incidents
• Coordinate staff training and performance management
• Promote safety, order, and a therapeutic environment
• Foster positive working relationships with clients, staff, and other departments
• Prepare security reports and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
