JOB DETAILS:

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to service, maintain, and repair heavy machinery and equipment used in construction and mining operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and hands-on experience with heavy-duty systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy machinery such as excavators, graders, bulldozers, and trucks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns on-site.
• Collaborate with operators and project managers to schedule service.

Requirements:

• Diploma or trade certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with heavy-duty machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be physically fit and safety-conscious.
• Valid driver’s license and heavy equipment certifications are a plus.
