Key Responsibilities

• Planned Component Replacement (PCR) Management
  • Team Development & Leadership
  • Life Cycle Costing (LCC) & Asset Strategy
  • OEM & Contractor Relationship Management

Core Duties

Maintenance Strategy & Execution
• Lead Ultra Class HME fleet maintenance for maximum availability, reliability and safety
• Ensure PCR programs are executed with precision including forecasting and quality assurance
• Develop high-performing teams focused on work management and failure analysis

Life Cycle Costing & Asset Management
• Drive LCC strategies for long-term asset planning including rebuilds and capital replacement
• Optimize spares and inventory with Supply Chain

OEM & Contractor Collaboration
• Work closely with OEMs for technical support and warranty compliance
• Oversee contractors during major maintenance projects

Performance Monitoring & Compliance
• Track KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, availability) and report to stakeholders
• Enforce OEM standards and safety policies

Continuous Improvement
• Implement RCA and defect elimination programs
• Foster safety-first, high-performance culture

Requirements

Education
• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Mining Engineering

Experience
• 10+ years in mobile equipment maintenance (large-scale mining)
• 5+ years managing Ultra Class equipment (Komatsu 930E, PC8000-PC4000)

Skills
• Life Cycle Costing expertise
• SAP CMMS proficiency
• Strong OEM negotiation skills
