Background
Malu Capital is an auxiliary micro-financial services provider committed to expanding access to inclusive, responsible, and growth‑oriented financial solutions. As part of its strategic growth and inclusion agenda, in collaboration with other stakeholders Malu Capital will be introducing Village Banking services and will need the following vacancies to be filled:
Job Purpose
To support the implementation of human resource policies and procedures by managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff welfare.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, and induction of staff.
- Build and promote in-house company culture.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Administer staff contracts, leave, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and institutional HR policies.
- Coordinate staff training and capacity-building activities.
- Handle employee grievances and welfare matters.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce statistics.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in an HR role.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidentiality and professionalism.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
