JOB DETAILS:
• Our client – a leading independent leaf tobacco merchant based in Lusaka, Zambia – is looking for a Human Resources Business partner to join their dynamic team.
• The HR Business Partner will be required to manage the Human Resource function within the business and to ensure employee optimum efficiency in line with their global Human Resources Policies and

Objectives.
The candidate will be responsible for the following areas:
1. Human Resources management, planning and budget
2. Reward policy and management
3. Management and development of human capital
4. Industrial relations
5. Implementation of HR policies, procedures and allied systems
6. Management of Safety, Health and Environment, ISO and Clinic operations
7. Payroll Management
8. Management of the HR department

Job Requirements:
• Degree in Human Resources Management or Similar
• Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management

Key knowledge areas:
• Appointment and retention of Human Capital
• Performance Management and Reward Management
• Training and Development
• SAP system, HR Premier system, ECMT system
• Computer ( Microsoft packages)
• Full understanding of the Zambian employment and labour laws and acts

Key skills:
• Ability to lead, manage and develop staff and employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to present difficult situations
• Ability to analyse and solve difficult problems to achieve the correct outcomes
• Ability to negotiate, interact and achieve targets locally
