The Opportunity
Educore Services seeks to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individual in ICT Network & Infrastructure Administrator to be based in Solwezi. The suitable candidate will report to the ICT Manager directly and contribute to all ICT administration and support within the organisation
Responsibilities or duties
- Support the maintenance, development, and implementation of ICT infrastructure and systems.
- Manage ICT assets and ensure proper allocation and protection of equipment.
- Maintain power protection and backup systems for servers and network infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), VPNs, and user access controls.
- Monitor internet connectivity, bandwidth usage, and service provider SLAs.
- Configure and maintain security appliances and related systems.
- Assist with ICT projects in line with organisational strategic plans.
- Supervise and support ICT Academic Specialist across all sites
Qualifications or requirements
- Minimum of Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science will be an added advantage
Experience needed
- 5 years in ICT support, systems administration or related roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of ICT security practices and backup procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Reliable, accurate, and trustworthy with a professional approach to staff, students, parents, and ser-vice providers.
