Role Overview
St. Ignatius College is seeking a qualified and committed ICT Teacher to join our Secondary School. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in Information and Communication Technology, foster digital literacy, and support the holistic development of students in line with Jesuit educational values.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons across secondary school levels.
- Develop students’ skills in computer applications, programming, and digital literacy.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress in accordance with school policies.
- Integrate Jesuit values into teaching, promoting discipline, respect, and service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICT developments and incorporate them into teaching.
- Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection responsibilities are upheld at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in ICT or related subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification and relevant ICT degree or degree
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student-cantered learning.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
