Role Overview

St. Ignatius College is seeking a qualified and committed ICT Teacher to join our Secondary School. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in Information and Communication Technology, foster digital literacy, and support the holistic development of students in line with Jesuit educational values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons across secondary school levels.
  • Develop students’ skills in computer applications, programming, and digital literacy.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress in accordance with school policies.
  • Integrate Jesuit values into teaching, promoting discipline, respect, and service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICT developments and incorporate them into teaching.
  • Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection responsibilities are upheld at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in ICT or related subject.
  • Recognised teaching qualification and relevant ICT degree or degree
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student-cantered learning.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices.
