Background
The Council of Law Reporting is a statutory body established under the Council of Law Reporting Act, Chapter 46 of the Laws of Zambia, mandated to prepare, publish and disseminate law reports and other legal publications, thereby promoting access to legal information and supporting the development of jurisprudence in Zambia. In pursuit of its strategic objectives and commitment to institutional excellence, the Council of Law Reporting invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and innovative candidates for the following positions:Recruitment agency directory
Responsibilities
- Undertake effectively the collection and documentation of data on user needs in order to facilitate analysis, identification of areas of improvement and facilitate system development;
- Undertake effectively the maintenance of network as well as monitoring their performance in order to facilitate smooth operations;
- Undertake effectively the provision of technical support in the configuration, installation and maintenance of IT hardware in order to facilitate availability and provision of IT services;
- Undertake effectively the maintenance of systems documentation in order to facilitate business continuity;
- Undertake timely the documentation of information systems and systems inventory in order to facilitate maintenance and business continuity;
- Undertake effectively the provision of technical support in the implementation of security measures for IT systems in order to prevent unauthorised access and protect the integrity of the Institution’s data;
- Undertake effectively the delivery of end user training programmes in order to impart skills to utilise IT resources;
- Undertake effectively the development of test plans in order to verify system functionality;
- Undertake effectively the configuration of ICT tools in order to facilitate their utilisation; and
- Undertake effectively the trouble shooting of end users IT issues in order to facilitate timely resolution.
Qualifications
- Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
- Diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Member of the ICTAZ
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
