Invitation to bid at Chingola Municipal Council

Chingola Municipal Council through the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) received funds for Constituency Development for both Nchanga and Chingola Constituencies. The Council intends to apply part of these proceeds towards the following projects;
LOT 1 Construction of a modern Market shelter at Mutenda Market LOT 2 Drilling of 13 boreholes in Nchanga Constituency
Chingola Municipal Council now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders registered with National Council for Construction (NCC) in Grade 6 and 5, Category B or C, to participate in the Tender for the proposed works.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from 08:30hrs to 16:00hrs during working days at the Procurement Unit at Chingola Municipal Council situated along President Avenue, P.O.Box 10104 and obtain a solicitation bid document at a none-refundable fee of Five Hundred Kwacha (ZMK 500.00).
Bidders who are able to bid for both LOTS will be required to purchase for each LOT and submit their bids separately.
This tender is reserved for copperbelt based contractors only. However, chingola district domiciled bidders will have an added advantage.

A mandatory site visit for both lots shall be conducted on 27th april, 2022 at 09:00hours. All bidders to meet at civic centre committee room before 09:00HRS.
Cooperatives, women and youth owned companies are encouraged to participate.

Submission procedure
Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders in Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders in sealed envelopes, bound and clearly marked: "Tender for .....................(full name of project and LOT number) in Chingola District Copperbelt Province" and shall be deposited in the Tender box located at Inquiries, Chingola Municipal Council situated along President Avenue, Copperbelt Province, not later than 20 May, 2022 at 10:30 hours local time, which is the deadline for submission of bids.
The bids will be opened immediately, thereafter in the presence of bidders who choose to attend.
Late bids shall not be accepted Chingola Municipal Council reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contract without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders, or any obligation to inform the affected bidder or bidders of the grounds for the purchaser's action.
