Role Purpose:
- To ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with applicable accounting standards
- To provide timely and reliable financial information for decision making
- To support transparency and accountability in financial operations
- To safeguard client assets through proper documentation and controls
- Ensure compliance with insolvency laws and regulatory frameworks where applicable
- Assist in the orderly resolution of financial distress through restructuring or liquidation
Core Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping and transaction processing
- Communication with various stakeholders
- Recommend financial and process improvement
- Follow ups and timely collection of receivables
- Managing invoices, payments and collections
- Payroll processing
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Advising clients on insolvency options
- Assessment of client financial position
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., ZICA, ACCA - Part qualified or pursuing)
- 1 - 2 years relevant experience (or strong internship background)
Key Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Able to work under minimal supervision
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
