Role Purpose:

  • To ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • To provide timely and reliable financial information for decision making
  • To support transparency and accountability in financial operations
  • To safeguard client assets through proper documentation and controls
  • Ensure compliance with insolvency laws and regulatory frameworks where applicable
  • Assist in the orderly resolution of financial distress through restructuring or liquidation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping and transaction processing
  • Communication with various stakeholders
  • Recommend financial and process improvement
  • Follow ups and timely collection of receivables
  • Managing invoices, payments and collections
  • Payroll processing
  • Budgeting and forecasting support
  • Advising clients on insolvency options
  • Assessment of client financial position

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ZICA, ACCA - Part qualified or pursuing)
  • 1 - 2 years relevant experience (or strong internship background)

Key Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
