About the Role

Echo Events Media is looking for a creative and motivated Junior Photographer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about photography, eager to improve their skills, and ready to work in a fast-paced events environment.

If you have a strong eye for detail, enjoy capturing memorable moments, and are committed to delivering high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photographs at weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and other special occasions.
  • Edit and retouch images using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar editing software.
  • Setting up and managing photography equipment before, during, and after events.
  • Ensure all images meet Echo Events Media's quality standards.
  • Organize, back up, and manage digital files efficiently.
  • Work professionally with clients, guests, and team members during assignments.
  • Follow company photography workflows and editing standards.
  • Maintain photography equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when events require.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–2 years of photography experience.
  • Strong photo editing skills using Lightroom and/or Photoshop.
  • A portfolio demonstrating photography and editing ability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Willingness to learn and receive coaching.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who:

  • Reside in Lusaka, particularly within or near Libala, Chilenje, Kabwata, or Chalala.
  • Have experience photographing events.
  • Possess basic knowledge of camera lighting and flash techniques.
  • Can start immediately.
