JOB DETAILS:
The Council of Palabana University is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the following positions in the University.
LABORATORY TECHNICIANS
Laboratory Technician – Aquaculture and Fisheries Sciences (1 position)
Laboratory Technician – Animal Science (1 position)
Purpose:
The main responsibility of the incumbent will be to participate in the training of students by way of conducting Laboratory sessions as well as assist in the management of the laboratories.
Responsibilities:
- To participate in the training of students.
- To assist in the management of the School.
- To ensure that lab based student training is conducted in a safe, secure and suitableenvironment.
- To report regularly to the Head of Departments on the science laboratories activities including research and training.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Aquaculture and Fisheries Sciences
- At least 2 years experience working experience Animal Science
- Diploma in Biomedical Sciences
- At least 2 years’ experience working experience
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: associate degree
