Background

The LUSAKA APEX MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (LAMU) is a privately owned University, accredited by the Higher Education Authority under the Higher Education Amendment Act No. 23 of 2021 to provide Higher Education in Medical Education. LAMU is regulated by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), Nursing & Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ), Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA). Lusaka Apex Medical University is therefore looking for mature, proactive, highly motivated and result oriented Zambians with high degree of credibility to fill the following position.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy Practice or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
• Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five credits which includes English language and Mathematics or its equivalent.
• Certificate or Diploma in teaching Methodology
• Valid practising licence

All academic qualifications and must be Validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).

At least three (3)) years teaching and research Experience.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 certificate with credit in Mathematics and English
• Bachelor’s degree in software development, Computer Science, Information Technology, software engineering, or a related field
• All academic qualifications and results must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Linux CLI environments.
• Ability to develop websites from scratch.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Canvas LMS (plugin customization is a plus).
• Prior exposure to KOHA, D Space, or Moodle will be an advantage.
• At least 3-5 years’ work experience
