Responsibilities
- Able to teach 5 to 6 courses per year, starting with lower year courses which can be reassigned.
- Laboratory sessions of taught courses with the support by laboratory assistant.
- Liaison with industry to build up opportunities for student internships, student site visits, and identification of industry lectures.
- Research in the area of specialization of the candidate.
- Support of laboratory activities for industry consultancies
Requirements
- Eng. Civil Engineering or B.Eng. Civil Engineering or its equivalent
- MSc in Engineering with concentration in Civil Engineering
- A combined 5 years’ experience in teaching, research and or industry
- Fluent in English
- Able to encourage and mentor students
- Able to interact with industry collaborators
Recommendation
- Evidence of directing research at post graduate level
- PhD in engineering or working towards
- Evidence of consulting experience
Commencement date
1 May 2026
