JOB DETAILS:

The Zambia Institute of Business Studies and Industrial Practice (ZIBSIP) College in Kitwe is looking to hire a part-time lecturer in General Hospitality – Events Management to join its dynamic academic team.

Responsibilities or duties

• Deliver high-quality lectures in Hospitality and Events Management.
• Develop, review, and update teaching materials and curricula.
• Supervise students’ projects, internships, and practical training.
• Conduct research and contribute to academic publications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students.
• Participate in departmental and institutional activities.
• Be able to keep and manage a well-organized teaching file.
• To perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, or a related field.
• Accredited by Teveta.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Experience needed

• At least 3 years of teaching or industry experience in Hospitality and events management.
• Ability to integrate practical industry knowledge into academic teaching.
