Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Lecturer to join our esteemed faculty. The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in health sciences, conducting research, and contributing to the academic and administrative functions of the college.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in assigned health science disciplines.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment tools.
• Supervise student research projects and dissertations.
• Conduct independent research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Participate in academic committees and college development activities.
• Mentor and guide students, providing academic and career advice.
• Stay abreast of current developments and best practices in health sciences education and research.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant health science discipline (e.g., Nursing, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy).
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
• Proven track record of research and publications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Registered with the relevant professional body in Zambia.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level. Research experience is highly desirable.
