JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:

To facilitate teaching, learning, and research in the field of Law, contributing to the development of well-grounded graduates equipped with strong legal knowledge and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures and tutorials in core areas of Law.
• Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, and teaching materials.

• Assess students’ performance through assignments, examinations, and projects.

Education

• Conduct research and publish in recognized academic journals.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum reviews.
• Student support and mentorship
• Curriculum development
• Record of research publications and conference presentations is desirable.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Law (LLM); a PhD will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• Teaching experience at the tertiary level preferred.

• Demonstrated research and publication record.
• 2 years’ experience in higher education, particularly law or related disciplines.
• Admission to the bar and is in good standing

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
