Muky Pharmacy Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill the position of Locum Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Provide professional counseling to patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines from the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA) and other relevant authorities.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technologists and support personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed and controlled substances.
• Ensure proper storage, stock management, and inventory control of pharmaceutical products.
• Uphold high standards of pharmaceutical care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Support the pharmacy in maintaining quality service delivery during assigned locum periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) with a valid practicing license.
• Must be in good standing with the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA).
• Previous experience in retail or community pharmacy will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and professional practice standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts when required.
