Zambia-China Economic & Trade Cooperation Zone Development Limited (ZCCZ) is the 1st declared MFEZ in Zambia by the Zambian government. We are working to develop two Multi-Functional Economic Zones in both Chambishi and Lusaka.

Logistics Deputy Manager to perform these duties and ensure the accuracy of records. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Assist in enforcing customs regulations, tariffs, and trade laws.

2.      Coordinate and track movements of goods through logistic pathways.

3.      Monitor and inspect goods, shipments, and documentation at ports of entry.

4.      Maintain quality throughout the logistics processes.

5.      Supervise and sometimes participate in physical inspections of cargo and vehicles.

6.      Ensure proper classification, valuation, and assessment of duties and taxes on goods.

7.      Verify the accuracy and completeness of customs declarations and documents.

8.      Assist in the clearance process for imports and exports.

9.      Monitor trade activities to ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.

10.  Help educate traders on customs procedures and compliance requirements.

11.  Input data into customs systems and assist with report generation.

12.  Assist in training junior staff.

13.  Support enforcement teams during raids, seizures, and investigations.

14.  Prepare routine reports and summaries for senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma in logistics, supply chain management or any related field. A Degree is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of customs laws and international trade regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills..
  • Skills with Microsoft excel and word.
  • Attention to detail and integrity.
  • Physical fit and mobile.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply chain management
