Background information about the job or company:

ESoft Africa Limited is seeking a highly organized and motivated HR officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the HR department in implementing policies, managing employee relations, and driving talent acquisition initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary cases in a fair and timely manner
  • Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Labor laws and regulations
  • Maintain effective communication to enable efficient interchange of information between management and employees
  • Prepare monthly payroll input to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits
  • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and leave management
  • Performance management and evaluation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in human resource management, business admin, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR
  • Must be a paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource (ZIHRM)
  • Strong knowledge of Labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
