JOB DETAILS:
• Caritas Czech Republic, an international NGO active in humanitarian aid and development cooperation implementing projects in Zambia, seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer.
• The M&E Officer will be critical in enhancing our project effectiveness and impact within Caritas Czech Republic in Zambia. This role requires a deep understanding of monitoring and evaluation methodologies, a meticulous approach to data analysis, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations, ensuring the continuous improvement and effectiveness of Caritas Czech Republic’s programs.

Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for projects.
• Designing and conducting assessments, surveys, and evaluations to measure program outcomes.
• Analysing data and preparing comprehensive reports to inform decision-making.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure data collection aligns with project goals and donor requirements.
• Providing training and support to staff on monitoring and evaluation processes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences).
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with international standards and best practices in monitoring and evaluation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
Duty station: Lusaka, Zambia
