JOB DETAILS:
This position reports to the Shift Production Supervisor. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
Responsibilities
- Start, stop, and adjust various processing and packaging machines, such as bottle blowing, filling, labelling, and shrink-wrapping machines.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards, monitoring for proper labelling, sealing, and product formation.
- Perform basic maintenance, lubrication, and inspections on machines to minimize downtime and resolve mechanical issues in collaboration with the technical team.
- Adhere to safety protocols and 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Accurately record production data, machine performance, and maintenance tasks. Promptly report anomalies and mechanical faults to supervisors.
- Work effectively with other team members to achieve production goals, participate in team goal reviews, and follow work instructions.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of a Diploma in Engineering or Mechanics
- Hands-on experience operating machinery in a beverage or manufacturing setting is essential, with some roles requiring 1-2 years of experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and proficiency in English (written and spoken) are critical.
- A strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, and a willingness to work long hours in a factory setting are also important.
