Background:

To plan, coordinate, and oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects within the Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Policy development and implementation
  • Strategic planning and budgeting
  • Technical advice and policy development
  • Infrastructure planning, design, and feasibility studies
  • Project planning and management
  • Procurement and contract management
  • Compliance, health, safety, and environmental management
  • Stakeholder coordination and utility integration
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
  • Research, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Performance management
  • Management of resources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering or related field
  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field (added advantage)
  • 5 years post qualifying experience in infrastructure development and project management
  • Professional Membership to a relevant body such as Engineering Institute of Zambia

  • Strong risk management and compliance knowledge
  • Innovative mindset with plenty of initiative
