We are looking for highly motivated, confident, and results-driven individuals to join our team as Marketing & Client Acquisition Interns. This internship is designed to provide hands-on, real-world experience in insurance sales, marketing strategy, and customer engagement.

Role Overview

The Marketing & Client Acquisition Intern will play an active role in driving business growth through direct sales, field marketing, and client relationship building. This is a performance-oriented role that requires confidence, professionalism, and the ability to actively engage potential clients both inside and outside the office.

Intern will be required to physically step out of the office to prospect, meet potential clients, distribute marketing materials, and close insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Actively prospect for new clients through field visits, referrals, and networking.
  • Visit car dealerships, corporate offices, SMEs, and individuals to promote insurance products.
  • Educate potential clients about motor vehicle insurance policies and benefits.
  • Generate quotations and follow up with prospects to convert leads into active policies.
  • Close sales and ensure proper documentation and onboarding of new clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage renewals and referrals.
  • Participate in road activations, business-to-business (B2B) visits, and market outreach programs.
  • Achieve agreed weekly and monthly sales targets.

Marketing Support

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns (both online and offline).
  • Distribute flyers, brochures, and promotional materials in targeted areas.
  • Support social media marketing efforts including content creation and engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and customer needs.
  • Collect customer feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Help identify partnership opportunities with car dealers and corporate institutions.

Administration & Reporting

  • Prepare daily and weekly sales activity reports.
  • Maintain an updated database of prospects and clients.
  • Assist in tracking policy renewals and follow-ups.
  • Support preparation of simple sales performance reports.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree (student or graduate) in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, persuasive, and target-driven personality.
  • Willingness to conduct field sales and outdoor marketing activities.
  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email, and social media platforms).
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Added Advantage

  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management.
  • Previous internship or sales experience.
  • Understanding of insurance products.
  • Ability to speak confidently and present to individuals or small groups.
