GOLDEN FLOW INVESTMENTS LIMITED (GFIL) is seeking a Marketing Graduate Trainee. This is a full-time position with a 3-month probation period, following local Zambian labour standards for working hours and leave policy.

Responsibilities or duties

Key Responsibilities (Phased):

Phase 1 (Initial stage – focus on market research & client discovery):

  • Conduct field market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
  • Build initial databases of leads and business opportunities.

Phase 2 (Later stage – focus on product sales):

  • Promote and sell company products to targeted clients.
  • Develop customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.

Note: Frequent travel within Zambia (including upcountry regions) is required for both phases.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Candidate Requirements:

  • Nationality: Zambian citizen only.
  • Gender: Open to both male and female.
  • Education: University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) from a Zambian university.
  • Major preference: Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. Other majors with strong marketing potential are also welcome.
  • Key competencies:
    • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Hardworking, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
    • Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit.
    • Sharp market insight and creativity/innovation ability.

Experience needed

Experience preference (not mandatory but a plus): Previous sales or marketing work experience.

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes).

Priority given to those who understand Chinese: Candidates who can speak and communicate in Chinese are preferred.

Personal preference: Single candidates are preferred.

Other: Willing to travel frequently and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
