JOB DETAILS:
Responsible for managing the flow of materials within the warehouse including receiving, inspecting, storing and distributing inventory while ensuring accurate records are kept, quality standards are met, and material are available as needed for production or delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders for quality and quantity and processing receiving documents and updating inventory systems.
• Conducting quality checks, and organising inventory.
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts.
• Coordinating material deliveries to production lines or other departments.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Resolving any discrepancy with purchase orders or deliveries.
• Work closely with purchase department, production and workshop teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Diploma or Degree in logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Member of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (ZCILT).
• Minimum of three (3) Years’ experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS)
• Proficiency in inventory management techniques.
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with different departments
• Diploma/Degree in industrial Engineering will be an added advantage
