JOB DETAILS:

Position: Mechanic
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Zambia

Job Summary:
The Mechanic will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment to ensure reliable and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Repair and replace faulty mechanical components.
• Conduct inspections of engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other machinery.
• Carry out servicing and scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns promptly.
• Ensure tools and workshop equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.
• Work closely with other maintenance and production teams.

Requirements:

• Relevant certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work shifts and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
