JOB DETAILS:
Mechanical Fitter
Job Summary:
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure reliable and safe mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mining equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
- Inspect engines, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and other equipment.
- Replace worn or damaged components.
- Conduct equipment servicing according to maintenance schedules.
- Maintain maintenance records and follow site safety procedures.
Requirements:
Relevant mechanical fitting qualification/trade certificate and experience working with heavy machinery or mining equipment.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
