Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless claims experience? Hollard Insurance Zambia is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Motor Assessor.

Job Purpose

The Motor Assessor will be responsible for delivering courteous and efficient motor vehicle assessment services, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. This role involves conducting accurate and cost-effective negotiations for vehicle repairs, aiming to provide a consistent and effective service to both internal and external customers. The Assessor will play a crucial role in ensuring that the claims experience for our customers is seamless, managing the entire process from assessment through to the completion of repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections.
  • Negotiate cost agreements with repairers that are competitive and fair based on accident damages.
  • Source independent quotations from parts dealers.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the repair process.
  • Monitor repair works to ensure they meet the highest standards and are completed within reasonable timelines.
  • Manage relationships with repairers and provide support as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Motor Technology.
  • Diploma in Insurance is an added advantage.
  • Grade Twelve with Five O Levels, including English and Maths.
  • 5-10 years of experience in claims management and administration.
