JOB DETAILS:
Lusaka Vocational and Technical College (LVTC) is a training institution under the Ministry of Technology and Science (MoTS) established in 1997 by then Ministry of Science, Technology and Vocational Training (MSTVT). It is a TEVETA accredited institution.
LVTC now invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant positions below:

1. Job Title: Cashier
Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College
Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
• Able to prepare bank reconciliations.
• Raising payments.
• Receipting and banking of all cash.
• Able to prepare NAPSA/NHIMA and PAYE returns.
• Preparation of cash books.

Qualifications:
• ZICA Technician.
• Conversant with Microsoft Excel.
• Work Experience with Sage Pastel and any payroll systems.
• At least 3 years minimum experience in a similar position.
• No previous criminal record.
• Paid up member of ZICA.

2. Job Title: Lecturer in Automotive Engineering
Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College
Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engineering and effective lesson plans and schemes of work.
• Conduct both theoretical and practical lessons in automotive engineering.
• Prepare and conduct assessments and examinations.
• Maintain a conducive learning environment in the classroom and workshop.
• Provide guidance and support to students, including counselling on academic and social matters.
• Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methods.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities to enhance the academic reputation of the institution.
• Securing internship and industrial attachment for the learners.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Diploma in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent.
• Teaching Methodology qualification is a requirement.
• Accreditation to TEVETA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in lecturing or teaching in the automotive field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain discipline and manage classroom activities effectively.
• Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
