JOB DETAILS:

Chreso University is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacancies in the Nursing Department at its City/Lusaka Campus and Copperbelt Campus in Luanshya.

1. Lecturer – Anatomy (2 Positions: 1 City, 1 Copperbelt)

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master of Science in Human Biology (from a reputable university)
• Bachelor of Science in Human Biology
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at university level
• Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English
• Valid Nursing Practicing License with the General Nursing Council (GNC)

2. Lecturer – Physiology (2 Positions: 1 City, 1 Copperbelt)

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master of Science in Human Biology (from a reputable university)
• Bachelor of Science in Human Biology
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at university level
• Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English
• Valid Nursing Practicing License with the GNC

3. Clinical Tutors (3 Positions: 2 City, 1 Copperbelt)

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Midwifery
• Advanced Diploma in:
  • Midwifery (1 position)
  • Any specialisation such as Operating Theatre Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Paediatrics Nursing, or Emergency & Trauma Nursing (2 positions)
• Advanced Diploma in Clinical Teaching is an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical teaching experience
• Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English
• Valid Nursing Practicing License with the GNC

4. Nursing Lecturers (3 Positions: 2 City, 1 Copperbelt)

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master of Science in Nursing or Clinical Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Critical Care, or Emergency & Trauma Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in a relevant specialisation:
  • Operating Theatre Nursing
  • Critical Care Nursing
  • Paediatrics Nursing
  • Emergency & Trauma Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience at university level
• Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English
• Valid Nursing Practicing License with the GNC

5. Lecturer – Midwifery and Women’s Health (MCNH)

(2 Positions: 1 City, 1 Copperbelt)

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master of Midwifery and Women’s Health (MCNH)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Midwifery
• Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience at a reputable college/university
• Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English
• Valid Nursing Practicing License with the GNC

Work Hours: 8

Experience: No Requirements
