National Control Centre Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating with security personnel and emergency services.
• Operate the National Control Center CCTV
• Maintaining clear and consistent communication between the control center and individual stores, as well as with other departments
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and security logs, enabling timely reporting and analysis.
• Ensuring all stores adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and inventory management
• Generating reports on store performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.

Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications:

• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems is crucial for the protection of assets and personnel.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
• Ability to exercise good judgment.
• Strong reporting skills.

Education/Experience:

Preferred:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Certificate in Security and Compliance or any related field.
• Physical Exam Required: Medical Report & Police Clearance

Desired Start Date: 8th July, 2025

Need to collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services, fostering a network of support. Essential Functions: Ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of control center systems and equipment. Monitoring real-time operations, system dashboards, and network traffic patterns. Identifying potential security threats or performance bottlenecks and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Effectively communicating with internal teams, external partners, and other stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Responding to and managing emergency situations, including coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining a secure workplace by enforcing security policies and procedures. Conducting regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Additionally, you oversee security operations during emergency situations, responding effectively to incidents like theft or vandalism. Collaboration with local law enforcement and emergency services may be required to handle significant security incidents. You will implement and review security protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Strong leadership and communication abilities are essential for effective team management. should also possess a keen eye for detail and the capacity to assess security risks. A background in law enforcement or security management can enhance your candidacy. familiarity with surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response planning is often required Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) can be beneficial. Proficiency in report writing and have a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations. Ability to remain composed under pressure and make quick decisions is crucial. Preferred: University Degree in Computer any computer science related field Master’s Degree – is an Added Advantage Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems is crucial for the protection of assets and personnel.
