Overview

The Civil Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified and unemployed health professionals for the 2026 recruitment of 2,600 Workers in the Ministry of Health.

Applicants are required to submit their applications through ZAMPOST and indicate their preferred district of deployment (except for Intern Medical Doctors and Pharmacists, who should indicate their preferred province).

The advertisement includes the following positions:

Nutrition Technologists

Conduct nutritional assessments using anthropometry, biochemistry, and dietary methods.

Design and implement therapeutic feeding programmes for malnourished patients.

Provide dietary counselling for chronic disease patients (diabetes, hypertension, etc.).

Supervise the production of ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RUTF) in facilities.

Train community health workers on infant and young child feeding practices.

Monitor and evaluate nutrition programme outcomes and report on trends.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a Zambian citizen with a valid National Registration Card (NRC).
• Possess a full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Hold relevant professional qualifications from a recognized institution.
• Be duly registered and licensed by the relevant professional regulatory body (where applicable).
• Be unemployed in the Civil Service at the time of application.
• Be above 18 years and below 45 years of age.

• Certified copies of academic and professional qualifications.
• Certified copy of the National Registration Card (NRC).

• Any other relevant supporting documents (e.g. a certificate from the Zambia Agency/Association for Persons with Disabilities, where applicable).
