Overall Purpose: To safely transport personnel to and from underground work sites or around the surface mine property.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a personnel transport vehicle on surface and underground routes.
  • Conduct passenger counts and ensure all safety rules are followed (e.g., seatbelts).
  • Perform vehicle safety inspections.
    Qualifications:
  • Valid appropriate driver's license (e.g., CDL or equivalent for a bus).
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Knowledge of mine site roads and rules.
