About the Role

The Partnerships & Fundraising Officer helps MYCP build the relationships and resources needed to expand our impact. Working with the Partnerships Lead and colleagues across the organisation, you will identify and cultivate partnerships with institutional donors, NGOs, foundations, companies, and other stakeholders to strengthen MYCP's long-term sustainability.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in partnerships and business development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and nonprofit development within a global youth-led organisation.

You will report to the Partnerships Lead. This is a fully remote, volunteer position, with an expected commitment of 3–5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential partners, sponsors, funders, and supporters aligned with MYCP's mission
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with organisations and institutions
  • Help identify grant, funding, and sponsorship opportunities suitable for MYCP
  • Support the preparation of funding applications, expressions of interest, and donor communications
  • Maintain records of partnership and fundraising activities using MYCP's systems
  • Work collaboratively with teams across #THINK, #DELIVER, and #ENGAGE to identify partnership opportunities and support organisational initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to diversify MYCP's fundraising activities and strengthen organisational sustainability

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within an international team
  • Previous experience in fundraising, partnerships, sales, business development, or grant writing is desirable but not required
  • Passion for youth participation, international collaboration, and creating positive social impact
