Friendcare Hospital, a growing private health facility in Lusaka is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Pharmacist.

Responsibilities or duties

Dispensing and compounding medications accurately and efficiently

Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and drug interactions

Providing patient counselling on medication use and adherence

Managing pharmaceutical stock, inventory and storage systems

Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards

Maintaining proper pharmacy records and reports

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) from a recognised institution

Full registration and valid practising licence with the Health Professions Council of Zambia

Experience needed

Minimum of 2–4 years’ relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred)

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Computer literacy
