Background

Ntapanza Farms is a well-established agricultural enterprise committed to sustainable and high-quality livestock production. Located approximately 60 kilometers from Mbala in a remote area of Northern Province, the farm offers a unique opportunity for professionals willing to embrace long-term rural living and work in a setting with limited network connectivity and minimal amenities.

Applicants must be 40 years or older and preferably have experience living in rural communities or working extensively with livestock. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, committed, and ready to contribute to a productive agricultural enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial poultry operations with focus on health, nutrition, welfare, and biosecurity.
  • Supervise poultry farm staff and daily activities.
  • Maintain accurate production and financial records.
  • Promote operational efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years managing commercial layer operations.
  • Experience managing flocks of 10,000 or more layer birds.
  • Strong knowledge of poultry production practices.
  • Excellent leadership and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to live on-site at the farm.
  • Professional references are required.
