Koinonia Community, a registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), is recruiting two (2) qualified and passionate Primary School Teachers for its new primary school set to open in March.
We are seeking dedicated educators committed to delivering quality education using the Zambian Curriculum and promoting holistic child development.
Position: Primary School Teacher (Grades 1–7)
Number of Positions: 2
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Primary Education
- Must hold a valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) License
- Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia
- 35 years and below
Experience needed
- Experience teaching the Zambian Primary School Curriculum
Skills
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting their academic and social growth
Responsibilities or duties
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Zambian curriculum
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
- Monitor and support learners’ academic and social development
- Maintain accurate learner records
- Participate actively in school programs and community initiatives
