Job Purpose

To effectively implement the Zambia Education Curriculum Framework at primary level, delivering quality learner-centered instruction and promoting academic excellence and character development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the new competency-based curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Conduct continuous assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Support learners in developing literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, critical thinking, and life skills.
  • Maintain discipline and positive classroom management.
  • Participate in school programs, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Communicate learner progress effectively with parents/guardians.
  • Uphold professional teaching standards and ethical conduct.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Primary School Teaching (mandatory).
  • Valid Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) Certificate (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of the new competency-based curriculum.
  • At least 2 years teaching experience will be an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to start immediately.

NOTE!!!

Secondary school teaching qualifications will NOT be accepted FOR THESE POSITIONS. Applicants must possess qualifications in the relevant field. Secondary school teaching qualifications will NOT be accepted.
