JOB DETAILS:
• Department: Production – Beverages
• Reporting to: Production Manager – Beverages
• Location: Lusaka

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:
• Able to work independently.
• Solve issues that arise on a production floor and ensure a safe and clean production workspace.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
• Ensure the smooth running of processes on a production floor.
• Monitor employees, organize workflows, and analyse the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production to ensure quality during the process.
• Plan, schedule, and manage daily production of dairy products.
• Oversee functions like packaging, maintenance, budgets, and manpower.
• Analyse the production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Responsible for all the regulatory compliances.
• Liaison with other departments like commercial, store, quality, and human resources.
• Manages the product & package attributes’ compliance.
• Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.
• Organize the repair of any damaged production machines in a stipulated time frame and maintain records of the same.
• Review worker performance and identify training needs.
• 4 to 5 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry.
• Must have a Diploma/Degree in Production Management/Mechanical/Engineering or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.
