JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary:
Selected Supplies is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Production & Operations Manager to lead and optimize all operational activities across our Lusaka business units, focusing on factory oversight, facilities management, logistics, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Oversee daily factory operations and production planning
✔️ Ensure production meets efficiency, quality, and safety standards
✔️ Manage facilities maintenance and preventive repairs
✔️ Coordinate logistics, stock truck inventory, and warehouse operations
✔️ Lead, mentor, and develop operational and maintenance teams
✔️ Drive supply chain efficiency, procurement, and inventory control
✔️ Implement and enforce quality control and compliance standards
✔️ Monitor budgets, costs, and operational KPIs
✔️ Collaborate with teams to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines
Candidate Profile:
✔️ 5–7 years in operations management, including 3+ years in factory or industrial production
✔️ Strong leadership, problem-solving, and operational execution skills
✔️ Knowledge of inventory control, production scheduling, and logistics
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or Production Management preferred
✔️ Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally/regionally

Level of Education: bachelor degree
