JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for overseeing the production, quality, cost and safety of the mill that produces various feed products ensuring specification quality standards are met and type is delivered ensuring continuous improvement.

Supervise and manage various production processes, activities, assigned members ensuring to keep track of their scheduled timing.

Compliance with quality control standards. Ensure all procedures are communicated and followed by assigned staff members and that inventory ingredients are managed as needed including the review of production records during assigned shift.

Ensure continuous improvement and that subordinates are trained in the operation of machines and equipment.

Monitor and update the production schedule ensuring to deliver on daily production schedules

Ensure raw material stock, packaging materials and manufactured products inventories are reconciled including preparation of daily production reports for submission to relevant superiors.

Produce reports for submission to the immediate supervisor on a daily and weekly basis.

Qualifications or requirements:

Interested candidates must have a full grade 12 school certificate and a Diploma in milling studies with three (3) years’ working experience in a similar role and should have demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
