The Catholic Diocese of Solwezi is pleased to announce exciting marketing manager jobs in Solwezi and other key roles at Radio Kabangabanga. We invite qualified and experienced professionals to apply for these full-time opportunities based in Solwezi District, NorthWestern Province, Zambia.

The Programs Manager will oversee all aspects of radio production at Radio Kabangabanga. Reporting to the Station Manager, this role involves coordinating content creation, managing production teams, and securing sponsorships to ensure high-quality programming that meets audience and client expectations.

Responsibilities or duties

• Work closely with the Station Manager to execute programming goals.
• Maintain an up-to-date contact database for production purposes.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise radio production, including scripting, directing, editing, and sponsorship acquisition.
• Manage writers, news gatherers, editors, and other production staff throughout the process.
• Monitor post-production to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Meet performance targets as set by supervisors.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Experience in programming or a similar role.
• Diploma in Journalism or a related discipline.
• Comprehensive knowledge of journalism and radio programming.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for marketing and media.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
